On a beautiful early summer morning in Seoul, I caught up with the Dorsey family to make some portraits with their boy, Daniel. Andrew and Julie reached out after their first couple of meetings with Daniel and their exact words were “He’s all boy and has lots of energy.” They weren’t kidding! This was a high energy, super-fun session from start to finish.
We first met the Dorsey family back in my 2017 Year in Review posts and got a taste of Daniel’s energy. From the moment we met, he was all laughter. He would run and jump, swing and hide, and enjoyed nothing more than flying through the air. For a full 40 minutes, Daniel was absolutely unstoppable. So, it was all we could do to try to keep up with his pace. We managed to move to seven different locations during this time and Daniel could not be stopped!
Finally, when we got to our 8th location, he got quiet. This is the key sign that energy is running low. It was finally time to get a softer portrait of little-mister-energy. We wrapped up on this note and high-fived on our way out the gate. Thanks again for a wonderful session, guys!
